Kirsha Tryctha​, ​Online Presence Committee

Kirsha Weyandt Trychta joined the law faculty at the West Virginia University College of Law as a Teaching Associate Professor and Director of Academic Excellence in 2015.  At WVU she teaches courses in academic skill building, bar exam preparation, criminal law, criminal procedure, and evidence.  Prior to moving to West Virginia, she worked in the legal writing and clinical programs at Duquesne University School of Law and as a court-appointed criminal defense attorney in Pittsburgh.  Kirsha holds active law licenses in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
 
Fun facts:

• Kirsha loves a mental + physical challenge.  She’s successfully participated in The Walk of the World (2012), Tough Mudder (2013), Fear Factor Live (2015) and Strongman Competition (2019).
• Kirsha follows cute dogs on Instagram.  No people, just dogs.
• Kirsha still prefers to take meeting notes by hand, on paper.
